Morning is the most crucial time which decides how your rest of the day going to be. If you develop few habits, which i am going to tell you in rest of the article, you will see significant improvement in your productivity.

It is simple if you feel good in the morning; you will feel good rest of the day.

However if you pout about your past failure , focus on negative thoughts  or feel laziness, then this emotions you are going to carry forward for the rest of the day.

Successful people know the importance of time that is why they plan each activity in order to spend whole day efficiently.

Morning mindset is crucial to get your tasks done and feel good about yourself rest of the day.

I have researched few morning habits of highly successful people and implement in my life first. It has been 5 months i have been practicing; i can say it has been really a positive transformation in my life. Therefore, I decide to share with you people so that you can also tap your unlimited potential and make the most out of your life.

List of 6 Morning Habits To Make Your Day Productive
1.  Drinking Water

Drinking water first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up is the best way to start your day and proper functioning of your body.

Since 70% of human body contains water, so obviously water plays an important role

After 7-8 hours of sleep when we wake up, our body requires water as a fuel to drive our body.

I will tell you my story …

I work in shifts and so obviously, I used to wake up late in morning, used to grab a sandwich or something to eat without drinking water. I am telling you this was the worst habit I had which I realized later, though I used to drink sufficient amount of water throughout a day but still  my work at office was not productive and I used to feel literally dryness in mind.

Then I browse health websites how much drinking water in morning is important and all stuff, and decided to give it try, it’s been 5 month is have been doing this and seriously I feel much energetic and able to digest nutrients really well.

After all time is important and believe me you don’t want to waste your time by being unproductive because of not drinking few glasses of water in the morning.

We know that drinking liters of water throughout a day is how much important to your health but if the first thing when you wake up is to drink water around 1.5 liters, you will see miraculous results sooner.

Few Benefits of Drinking Water in Morning

  1. Skin Glow- Water proves helpful to purge toxin, which definitely lights up your skin.
  2. Weight Loss and Metabolism Increase- Drinking chilled water in morning helps you to burn calories and shed extra fat. It also increases your body metabolism
  3. Purifies Internal system of your body before you get started for your day.
2. Exercises

Everyone is working hard to earn significant amount of money to make their life better and in this race, most people forget to keep their body healthy.  This will not help them in long run.

It is simple if you are not healthy and fit, how do you think your body will support you to achieve your tasks in life?

I am not saying that everyone should go to gym and spends hours of time to build muscles.  I think everyone can adjust at least 20-25 minutes of time to do exercise.

You cannot even imagine, how much positive impact you feel in your life if you do exercise daily for 20-25 minutes in morning. After seeing the benefits, you will get addicted of this habit.

The exercise, which I do daily and makes me feel  really energetic and motivated:

Running

Running is the simplest and best exercise to tone your overall body.  Running effects on most of the body pasts apart from them, it increases mood and eliminate depression etc.

Mediation

This is effective exercise to keep your mind calm, removing negative thoughts and increase productivity of mind . Mediation is simple exercise and yet so many forms of doing it . For me, just to sit down, inhale and exhales long breaths and concentrate on them. Even if you spend few minutes, you will feel really relaxed and content.   1. You will stay healthy and prevent diseases like depression, obesity.
  2. You feel like, you have accomplished something.
  3. Reduce in stress and anxiety, which increases your mood.
  4. Increase in concentration , looks which results in ultimate boost in confidence
  5. Increase digestion of food.

Again you should adopt exercises which suits your body, which you can consult with your doctor as well before starting this as habit.

3. Positive Self Talk 

When you wake up, just forget about past . I know this is something tough but when you remind yourselves that even if you think about your past mistakes or failure… Can you go back and correct them?  No ….you can’t right.

However, one thing you can do is to heed the lesson from your mistakes keep that in mind so that you avoid same mistakes in future.

The reality is only time in which we can do something is PRESENT-Right now. Just be here and do your work after all every step that you take today will make your dreams reality.

That is when positive talk comes into picture, before starting your work or daily tasks. Positive talk is like signals which you feeding in to your subconscious mind.  Sending positive signals to mind helps to achieve your task sooner as well as helps you to avoid negative thoughts.

A positive talk helps you to identify what are the areas, which you need to improve yourself.

What are the steps you have to take to achieve your dreams or daily tasks.

Analyze the mistakes you had done in past and how you can avoid it in future?

Where do I stand on my health?

You should talk to yourself first before get started for your day. Planning and approach is  important to do any tasks.Few of the self talks you can also do in the morning which reflects your positive attitude such as …..

I should take a different approach to solve this problem

I think every failure brings new opportunity in itself

I will definitely become better at this by regular practice.

4. Reading

Reading is best way to get your brain working. Reading newspapers keeps you updated daily at the same time reading books helps you to get new ideas, teaches you tons of things which you probably not aware of . If you ask any successful person, he will definitely say he/she likes reading and its one of his/her daily habits.  Once it becomes a habit , it will be like Food to your brain which you will need daily.

Reading books in the morning even for 20 minutes can cause significantly positive impact and increase your brain utilization.

Few benefits of reading daily ……

  1. Makes you knowledgeable
  2. Improve your vocabulary, which will help you write articles.
  3. Improves inner peace
  4. Reduce stress and improves focus.

Read, Read, Read as much as you can in your life, because is knowledge is key to success .

5. The To Do List

One of the important thing, which you should do in the morning, that is “Planning for next 24 hours“.

Better the planning/strategy, more productive will be your day.

Take a notebook and write it down what you want to do today. Try to make a list of all tasks, which you want to achieve today, and in prioritize sequence (The important one’s should be on top of list).  This way you can keep track of yourself and you will not waste time figuring out what to do next. This habit ultimately makes your day heavily productive.

All big things, which you want to achieve in your life, consist of small steps, which you take day to day.

Once you develop this as a habit, you will see that you have become organized person who knows how get things done and what to do next.

6. Gratefulness

Last but important, you may have many desires in life. However, you should forget whatever you have right now and should be grateful about it every day.  Remind yourself at least 5 things for which you are grateful in life and believe me it is really a confident booster.

Gratefulness brings inner happiness and satisfaction. If you feel satisfied and not worry/stress about a damn thing then you will give 100% in everything you do that will increase your productivity and helps you to reach your target in less time.
